With good weather conditions recently, there have been some good rainbow trout coming off Cameron Reservoir between 4lbs and 5lbs 6ozs, particularly when there is a gentle east breeze. Ally McCoist has been a particularly stand out fly although the odd one has been tempted by a black buzzer, wooly bugger, black tadpole, eggstacy egg and Dennis the Menace Diawl Bach. Apart from some small olives showing on the surface so far there is not a lot of fly life about as yet. If the weather forecast is correct, the start of April should see the light east breeze returning and milder weather.
