The Club AGM was held in the New Club on the 17th Jan 2019

The fishing returns for 2018 were:

  • Brown Trout kept 15 Fish – 38lbs 6ozs – average 2lbs 6ozs, the heaviest fish being 5lb 1oz
  • Rainbow trout kept 443 Fish – 1118lbs 0oz – average 2lbs 6ozs the heaviest fish being 5lbs 5 5ozs
  • Number of permits 443 rods

The Club is entering the 3rd year of the lease for the fishing on the Cameron Reservoir and this is allowing the Club to improve the facilities for the members and visitors and more importantly plan for a long term tenure of the beautiful area around the Reservoir.

The St Andrews Community Trust was thanked for another generous donation given to the Club to assist in creating a meeting room and visitors lounge area in the boat shed, and to allow us to continue to upgrade the facilities of the Club and visitors.

The 2018 season prizing giving will be on 16th March 2018 at the fishing hut at Cameron Reservoir members of the public are welcome to take part in the Open Day competition.

Membership to the Club is open, the subscription has been set at £295 per year this allows members use the facilities and to fish at any time during the season.

We are also planning to renew the boats, and have started a fund where members and visitors may donate to the renewal of the boats.

New members are very welcome and may apply to the Secretary J.Sibbald, via the website www.standrewsanglingclub.co.uk. Interested – come up and see us at Cameron Reservoir for the Opening Day on the 16th March 2019.
